The Continental Plaza Playacar is a luxury hotel, located on a secluded pristine Caribbean beach. The Continental Plaza Playacar is by far the most exquisite hotel on one of the most unspoiled, unclouded beaches on the Yucatan Peninsula. The hotel is a 50 minute drive form Cancun's International Airport, but worth every minute. It is set on the outskirts of Playa del Carmen. Also, the resort is situated in front of the ferryboat dock to Cozumel for daily excursions. The hotel was built around some fascinating ruins, which can be found throughout the resort.
